What is Church at home?
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all people reading this may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and send his ministering angels to watch over you as you go about this life he has given you.
The purpose of this space is to lift up and glorify the name of Jesus Christ, to share the love and the gospel to a sad and dying world. It promotes his online church “Church at home” this concept was formed to help people that struggle through sickness, disability, or have had bad experiences with the church that stops them from getting to live church services.
We are non denominational and have from around the world, people that attend Church at home service that do go to and take active roles in Sunday Churches. Church at home is a bible based Church and preaches the gospel as it is, you will not find sermons here to the likening of all, but we teach it the way it was taught by the early church hard hitting to the point and at times confrontational.
We believe that there is no place for a watered down soft gospel to keep people happy the truth as much as it can hurt at times is given here. I would encourage you to have a look at our doctrine that can be found at our website http://churchathome-au.com/index.php?p=1_4_Doctrine To keep up to date with what is happening at Church at home please visit http://churchathome-au.com
What does 2009 have in store for Church at home?
As I sit at my desk writing this, amazed at what God has done at Church at Home in the past 21 months, we were 9 months old when I sat this time last year and wrote what has become an all to familiar site on our weekly blog telling newbie’s to the blog what we are all about, as you read this we will start the new year being 22 months old and where 2008 laid the foundations for a challenging, fresh outlook for Church at home for 2009 I believe we will continue to see, lives changed, people set free, a greater understanding of God’s Bible given, my friend as I have said for some time now 2009 is the year that Church at Home members will take what from Satan what Satan had no right to take in the first place,
• Our Wealth
• Our Health
• Our Rights
• Our Authority
We need to remember this, for "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16) we have the mind of Christ praise the Lord and then we need to be “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5) How may time do I say “Satan wins your mind he wins you?” My friends take comfort knowing this “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19. Nothing shall by any means hurt you, do you believe this so we can go and take back what Satan has taken from us I have no doubt over this, why because Revelation 12:11 says “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” How did they over come Satan and his cohorts, by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony, and they died of the flesh and followed the will of God for their lives. Saints this is why I know we have the victory and why we will take back our wealth, health, rights and authority.
2009 will take Church at Home to a minimum of three countries, will allow us to video tape our messages and place them on the world wide net for a greater number of people to see, will see the use of spiritual gift to be developed and used within the Church.
I believe that we as a Church are being called to focus on these areas for 2009 they are
To seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else with be given until you Matthew 6:33.
To test by the spirit of God all Teaches, Preachers, Pastors to make sure they are using the word of God. 1 John 4:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 5:21.
To understand that we have the mind of Christ therefore take captive any thought that doesn’t line up to the mind of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
To use the God given authority we have to take control of our lives and not give Satan & his cohorts a foot hold to come and destroy us. Luke 10:19.
To be consistently filled with the Holy Spirit. John 7:37-38
We long to experience a deeper manifestation of your presence as we draw closer to you like never before. James 4:8
To worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23
Showing the love of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world. 1 Corinthians 13
To follow the calling of the Great Commission by building on the foundations set in 2008. Matthew 28:19-20
Be still and know I am God Psalms 46:10
2008 was exciting, but hold your horses 2009 will be mind blowing so fasten your seat belts, and we pray you can be part of it all for his glory

Wayne’s Weekly Bible Verses
6Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.
7And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play."
8Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell;
9nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents;
10nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer.
11Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
12Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
13No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:6-13

What does 2009 have in store for Church at home?
As I sit at my desk writing this, amazed at what God has done at Church at Home in the past 21 months, we were 9 months old when I sat this time last year and wrote what has become an all to familiar site on our weekly blog telling newbie’s to the blog what we are all about, as you read this we will start the new year being 22 months old and where 2008 laid the foundations for a challenging, fresh outlook for Church at home for 2009 I believe we will continue to see, lives changed, people set free, a greater understanding of God’s Bible given, my friend as I have said for some time now 2009 is the year that Church at Home members will take what from Satan what Satan had no right to take in the first place,
· Our Wealth
· Our Health
· Our Rights
· Our Authority

Evaluate Your Priorities
Who or what is most important to us becomes that which we worship. Our thoughts, love, devotion, trust, adoration and obedience are directed to this object of person above all others. Our worship may end up being directed toward the true God or diverted towards other gods.
We were created to worship the true and living God. In fact, the Father seeks those who will worship him in spirit and in truth ( see John 4:23). As children of God, ‘we know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true= even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life’ (1 John 5:20, NIV)
The apostle John follows the above passage with a warning; ‘Little children guard yourselves from idols’ (1 John 5:21) An idol is a false god, any object of worship other than the true God. Though we may not bow down to statues, it is easy for people and things of this world to subtly become more important to us than our relationship with God. The following prayer expresses the commitment of a heart that chooses to ‘worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only’ (Matthew 4:10).
Dear Lord God,
I know how easy it is to allow other things and other people to become more important to me than You. I also know that this is offensive to Your Holy eyes as You have commanded that I should have no other gods before You.
I confess to You that I have not loved You with all my heart and soul and mind. As a result, I have sinned against You, violating the first and greatest commandment. I repent of and turn away from this idolatry and now choose to return to You, Lord Jesus, as my first love.
Please reveal to my mind any and all idols in my life. I choose to renounce every idol that would give Satan any right in my life. In the name of Jesus, the true God, amen
The following checklist may help you recognise those areas where things or people have become more important to you than the true God. Jesus Christ. Notice that most (if not all) of the areas listed below are not evil in themselves, they become idols when they usurp God’s rightful place as Lord of our lives.
· Ambition
· Food or any substance
· Money/possessions
· Computer/games/software
· Financial security
· Rock star/ media celebrities/ athletes
· Church actives
· TV/movies/music/other media
· Sports or physical fitness
· Fun/pleasure
· Ministry
· Appearance/image
· Work
· Busyness/activity
· Friends
· Power/control
· Boyfriend/girlfriend
· Popularity/opinion of others
· Spouse
· Knowledge/being right
· Children
· Hobbies
· Parents
· Other___________
Use the following prayer to renounce any areas of idolatry or wrong priority the Holy Spirit brings to mind:
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I confess that I have made _____________ (person or thing) more important than YOU, and I renounce that false worship. I choose to worship only You, Lord. I ask You, Father, to enable me to keep this area of _____________ (name the idol) in its proper place in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Twenty Cans of Success
17. Why should I feel helpless in the presence of others when I know that if God is for me, then who is against me (Romans 8:31)
18. Why should I be confused when God is the author of peace and he gives me knowledge through His Spirit who lives in me (1 Corinthians 2:12, 14:33)
19. Why should I feel like a failure when I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me (Romans 8:37)
As I sit at my desk writing this, amazed at what God has done at Church at Home in the past 21 months, we were 9 months old when I sat this time last year and wrote what has become an all to familiar site on our weekly blog telling newbie’s to the blog what we are all about, as you read this we will start the new year being 22 months old and where 2008 laid the foundations for a challenging, fresh outlook for Church at home for 2009 I believe we will continue to see, lives changed, people set free, a greater understanding of God’s Bible given, my friend as I have said for some time now 2009 is the year that Church at Home members will take what from Satan what Satan had no right to take in the first place,
· Our Wealth
· Our Health
· Our Rights
· Our Authority
